Julie Hackett
Founder and President

Julie Hackett is the founder of CreditEmporium.com. A San Francisco native, Julie has spent the last eight years bringing over $100 million of products and services to the Internet. In 2003, she formed Smart Emporium in an effort to provide consumers with an aggregated selection of goods and services, from which they can compare and make smart decisions. Hackett spent the first five years of her career in asset management, and evaluated the solvency of multi-billion dollar banking institutions and insurance conglomerates for institutional investors. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley where she studied English Literature and Mathematics.

J. Scott Woolwine
Vice President of Operations

Scott Woolwine recently joined Credit Emporium, assuming the role of coordinating and managing the various product lines and offerings. Scott organizes the bank offerings for relevance, freshness and coverage. Responsible for most day to day operations, he brings to the post more than 15 years experience in the fields of banking, information services, the Internet, online services and computer networking and software. Scott is a graduate of California State University, San Francisco where he earned his bachelor degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Spanish.
